When a new month begins, it’s the perfect opportunity to set fresh goals for your Spanish learning. Just like starting a new chapter, creating small, clear objectives helps you stay motivated and consistent. For me, this habit completely changed how I made progress with Spanish.
Instead of vague goals like “get better at Spanish,” try something specific. For example, decide you’ll learn 10 new words a week, complete 5 Lingobi activities, or practice the phrase of the day daily. These smaller targets build momentum and give you quick wins along the way.
Learn and use 30 new Spanish words this month
Finish one grammar topic you’ve been struggling with
Practice speaking with a friend or tutor twice a week
Listen to a Spanish podcast every weekend
What matters most is consistency. Even if you only dedicate a few minutes a day, those efforts add up quickly over a month. With every new phrase, you’re building confidence and moving closer to fluency.
So as this new month starts, take a moment to ask yourself: What’s one Spanish goal I can commit to right now?
Set your goal, stick to it, and by the end of the month you’ll be surprised at how much progress you’ve made. The new month is your chance to begin again — let’s make it count.
