Making plans is one of those everyday things that gives you a good reason to actually use Spanish. You don't need a complicated conversation either. A couple of useful questions can get you pretty far.
Today we're going to practice two phrases you can use when making plans with a friend, a language partner, or really anyone you want to meet up with.
One asks if someone is free this weekend. The other helps you figure out what time to meet.
See if you can build both sentences without looking anything up.
Build the correct sentence.
English → Español
These two sentences work well together. You start by checking whether the other person is free, then move on to figuring out the details.
It's a small example, but this is how real conversations often work. One useful sentence leads naturally into the next.
I like learning phrases like these as complete thoughts. Knowing individual words is useful, but being able to pull out a full sentence when you actually need it is even better.
We've also made a big update to the voices used throughout Lingobi activities. The audio has been enhanced to sound clearer and smoother, giving you a better experience when listening and practicing along.
So after you finish the activity, listen to each sentence and try saying it yourself. Getting comfortable hearing and speaking the phrase is just as important as building it correctly.
