Practice Makes Progress: Chatting with Natives in Lingobi
One of the most exciting ways to improve your Spanish with Lingobi is by using our Chat with Natives feature. It’s a space where you can connect directly with native speakers to practice real conversations. When I first started learning Spanish, talking to native speakers helped me gain confidence and learn how the language is truly spoken.
How to Start a Conversation
It’s totally normal to feel nervous at first, but remember—most native speakers are happy to help! Here are a few ice breakers to get the conversation going:
What kind of music do you like?
What’s your favorite place to visit in your country?
Do you have any recommendations for Spanish movies or shows?
Tips for Great Conversations
Be curious – Ask questions and show genuine interest in the other person.
Keep it simple – Don’t worry about using perfect grammar. It’s more important to keep the conversation flowing.
Be patient – Learning takes time. You don’t have to understand everything right away.
Respect boundaries – Avoid sensitive topics and be polite if someone prefers not to answer a question.
