Days of the Week in Spanish
Unlike English, the days of the week in Spanish are not capitalized unless they start a sentence. Here they are:
- Monday - lunes
- Tuesday - martes
- Wednesday - miércoles
- Thursday - jueves
- Friday - viernes
- Saturday - sábado
- Sunday - domingo
A quick tip: The weekdays (lunes to viernes) end in “-es” except for miércoles. The weekend days (sábado and domingo) are exceptions.
Months of the Year in Spanish
Just like days of the week, the months are not capitalized in Spanish.
