When learning Spanish, one of the most useful things you can master is how to describe the position of objects. Words like encima de (on top of), delante de (in front of), and dentro de (inside) are used all the time in daily conversations.
Encima de
Encima de means “on top of.”
Example: El libro está encima de la mesa. (The book is on top of the table.)
Delante de
Delante de means “in front of.”
Example: El coche está delante de la casa. (The car is in front of the house.)
